Day 1: Cochin
On arrival at the Cochin International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representatives and booked into a hotel.
Day 2: Explore Cochin
Visit the historical landmarks of this ancient port city, with old trade relations with the Chinese, Dutch, English and Portuguese. The Chinese style fishing nets, the St. Francis Church, home to the remains of Vasco da Gama, the Portuguese explorer, the 5-century-old Jewish Synagogue and the Mattancherry palace of the Erstwhile Maharaja of Cochin bear ample testimony to Cochin's myriad cultural influences.
Day 3: Periyar
You will be taken to Periyar National Park through a scenic route covering spice plantations and misty forests. Periyar is home to tigers, elephants, deer and many kinds of birds and reptiles. You will be booked into the Spice Village Resort.
Day 4: Periyar
Take a boat cruise on the picturesque Periyar Lake, and go on a guided tour of the National Park.
Day 5: Periyar- Kumarakom
In the morning, you will be taken to Kumarakom, 5 hours away from Periyar, where you will be booked into the Coconut Lagoon Resort.
Day 6: Kumarakom
Spend the day relaxing at the Coconut Lagoon Resort, nestled amongst lush palm groves, equipped with modern amenities and a wonderful spa and large swimming pool.
Day 7: Kumarakom- Houseboat
In the morning, you will be taken aboard a luxury houseboat for a cruise through the picturesque lagoons and canals of Kerala. You will spend the night at the houseboat as it cruises towards Allepey.
Day 8: Disembark at Allepey
You will disembark at Allepey, from where our representative will drive you to the Cochin International airport, just two hours' drive away. From the Cochin Airport, you can take a return international flight back home.
