Day 01: Arrive Chennai - Mahabalipuram
On arrival at Chennai, you will be met and we straight away drive to the temple town of Mahabalipuram, a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site in India. Arrive at and check in to a hotel at Mahabalipuram.

Day 02: Mahabalipuram
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram. Visit the amazing Arjuna's Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Varaha Mandapam (cave sanctuaries), and the Five Rathas (temples in the form of chariots) among other attractions of the town.

Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram (excursion)
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for a full day excursion to Kanchipuram, famous for its beautiful temples and their great Dravidian sculpture. Visit the famous Ekambaranathar Temple, Vaikunta Perumal Temple and Kailasanathar Temple among other attractions of the town. In the evening return to Mahabalipuram

Day 04: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
After breakfast at hotel, we drive to the famous 9th century Gingee Fort at Pondicherry, a fascinating Portuguese medieval colonial town in India. If time permits, also visit the famous Aurobindo Ashram.

Day 05: Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Tanjore
Morning drive to Tanjore- another fascinating temple town of south India. En route visit the amazing temples at Chidambaram, Gangaikondacholapuram and Darasuram, the historical cities of Tamil Nadu, India. Arrive at Tanjore and check in at the hotel.

Day 06: Tanjore - Trichy
After breakfast at hotel, you will enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Tanjore. Visit the famous Brihadeeswarar Temple- dedicated to the Lord Subramanya, known for its huge Shiva Lingam and a stone sculpture of the Nandi Bull. In the evening we drive to Trichy (Tiruchirapalli)- one of the most important and famous temple town of south India. Arrive at Trichy and check in at hotel and relax.

Day 07: Trichy
After breakfast at hotel, take an excursion to ancient temple towns of Cittinnavasal and Nartamalai, famous for their amazing cave temples with paintings dating back to the 6th century. Evening return to Trichy.

Day 08: Trichy - Madurai
Morning drive to Karaikudi- the ancestral home of the Chettiyars, famous for its exceptionally beautiful and elegant houses and mansions. Visit the enchanting Chettinad Palace. Later, we proceed to Madurai, the temple town of south India. Arrive at Madurai and check in to a hotel.

Day 09: Madurai
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Madurai temples. Visit the world-famous Meenakshi Temple among other tourist attractions of Madurai.

Day 10: Madurai - Kanyakumari (day excursion)
Today, you will enjoy a full day excursion to Kanyakumari, the southern most point of India. Kanyakumari is famous for its spectacular sunset and moonrise views, and the fascinating temples and monuments. Arrive at Kanyakumari and visit the famous Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekanada and Gandhi Memorial, and the beautiful statue of Tiruvalluvar. In the evening enjoy a breathtaking view of sunset over the Indian Ocean at Kanyakumari.

Day 11: Madurai - Kovalam
After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Kovalam, visiting the famous Padmanabhapuram Teak Palace, en route. The fascinating Padmanabhapuram Palace represents a superb example of traditional Kerala architecture, and is the largest wooden palace in India. Continue drive towards Kovalam. Arrive at Kovalam and check in a hotel / beach resort.

Day 12: Kovalam
Full day at leisure. Just relax, stroll, or laze on soft and cool Kovalam beaches or enjoy a rejuvenating Ayurvedic body massage (optional) at the resort.

Day 13: Kovalam - Cochin (Kochi)
Today after breakfast, we drive to Cochin. En route enjoy an exciting 3-hour backwater cruise by a motorboat. Arrive at Cochin and check in to hotel. In the evening, attend an entertaining Kathakali dance performance at a theater.

Day 14: Cochin
After breakfast at hotel, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Cochin, famous for its ancient ports and harbors. Visit the famous Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, and the Saint Francis Church.

Day 15: Cochin - Ooty
Today, we will drive to Ooty, popularly referred as the " Queen of Nilgiri Hills". You also have the option of traveling through a Niligiri mountain rail from Coonoor to Ooty. Arrive at Ooty and check in to a hotel.

Day 16: Ooty - Mysore
After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Mysore, the fascinating capital of Tipu Sultan, famous for its beautiful and elegant Mysore Palace. Arrive at Mysore and check in to a hotel. After freshening up, visit the world-famous Mysore Palace.

Day 17: Mysore
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour in and around Mysore. Visit the famous St. Philomena's Church, Chamundi Hill, Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery and the Brindavan Gardens among other attractions of Mysore.

Day 18: Mysore - Belur - Halebid - Hassan
Today, we will drive to the beautiful and peaceful town of Hassan. En route visit the famous medieval towns of Belur and Halebid, known for fascinating 10th century Hoysala Temples. Arrive at Hassan and check in at a hotel.

Day 19: Hassan - Hospet
Today after breakfast, we drive to Hospet, the gateway to Hampi (12 km)- the fascinating ruined city of Vijyanagar Empire (1336 -1565). Arrive at Hospet and check in to hotel. If time permits, visit the famous Tungabhadra Dam.

Day 20: Hospet - Hampi (day excursion)
Today you will enjoy a full day excursion to Hampi- a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The erstwhile capital of the Vijayanagar Empire, Hampi offers many amazing attractions, including the King's Balance (where kings were weighed against gold or money), the Queen's Bath, the Vittala Temple with its musical pillars and the Stone Chariot, and Ugra Narasimha- the 6.7meter tall monolith, and many others.

Day 21: Hospet - Hampi (day excursion)
Enjoy a 2nd full day excursion to Hampi as a one-day tour is not enough to cover all the tourist attraction of this wonderful town.
