Day 01: Calicut (Kozhikode)
On arrival at Calicut also called Kozhikode, you will be met and transferred to Kappad Beach Resort. Kappad Beach is a famous historic place of India, as Vasco De Gama- the great Portuguese explorer- landed on its coast in 1498 AD. Dinner and overnight stay at Kappad Beach Resort in Kozhikode.
Day 02: Calicut
Today after breakfast, enjoy an exciting excursion to Beypore. Located at just 10 km from Calicut, Beypore is famous for its lovely beaches, Asia's biggest wood market, and the traditional ship (wooden) building industry. Dinner and overnight stay at Kappad Beach Resort in Kozhikode.
Day 03: Calicut/Mahe
After breakfast, drive to Mahe. Mahe is one of the traditional and cultural centers of Kerala. Arrive Mahe, and check in at the famous Ayesha Manzil- a heritage bungalow located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon visit the Mahe Fort and Mosque. Dinner and overnight stay at the Bungalow.
Day 04: Mahe
After breakfast, visit the Kerala Traditional Dance Center at Mahe to witness 'Thayum' and 'Kalari Pati,' the dance and martial art form of Kerala respectively. Dinner and overnight stay at the Bungalow.
Day 05: Mahe - Wayanad
After breakfast, we drive to Wayanad, famous for its pristine environment and lush tropical forests. Arrive at Wayanad and check into the eco-friendly Vythiri Resort. The resort provides excellent opportunities for bird watching, trekking and an elephant ride at the nearby Muthanga Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay at Vythiri Resort.
Day 06: Wayanad
After breakfast, visit the nearby tribal village and the tribal museum. After lunch at he resort, take a 4 km trek to reach at an amazing ancient cave, offering a deep insight to the rich Indian civilization. Dinner and overnight stay at Vythiri Resort.
Day 07: Cheruthuruthy - Wayanad
After breakfast, we drive to Cheruthuruthy - famous for its school of traditional art and dance - Natya Kala Mandalam. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Afternoon, visit the Natya Kala Mandalam. At Cheruthuruthy, you will come across local potters and weavers known for their dexterity.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Heritage River Retreat Hotel.
Day 08: Cochin
After breakfast, we drive to Cochin (Kochi). Arrive Kochi and check in at the hotel. Later, enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of Kochi. Visit the famous Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, and Saint Francis Church. Take a walking tour of the bustling spice markets in the Jew Town area. Evening, enjoy a colorful Kathakali dance performance.
Dinner and overnight stay at Fort Heritage Hotel Kochi.
Day 09: Cochin - Alleppey
After breakfast, we drive to Alleppey. Arrive Alleppey and embark on a Kettuvallom (the traditional houseboat) to enjoy an unforgettable journey through the palm-fringed canals and villages. See and observe the traditional activities of the local people. Your crew will show you various tourist spots along the way and provide you delicious meals on board. Dinner and overnight stay onboard the houseboat.
Day 10: Alleppey - Kovalam
On arrival at Thottapally in the morning, disembark the houseboat after breakfast and we drive to Kovalam. On the way, visit the famous Haripad Subramanian Snake Temples with 500 snake statues.
Arrive Kovalam and check in to the Beach Resort. Dinner and overnight stay at Beach Resort in Kovalam.
Day 11: Kovalam
After breakfast, full day at leisure. Relax at the Resort or explore the enchanting Kovalam beaches. You can also enjoy a body rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage (optional) at the resort. Dinner and overnight stay at the Beach Resort.
Day 12: Kovalam/Trivandrum
On time transfer to Trivandrum int'l airport to board a flight to your onward journey or way back home with sweet memories of India.
