The Haripad Temple Festival refers to the festival held within the precincts of Sree Subrahmonia Swamy temple at Haripad, Kerala. The Sree Subrahmonia Swamy Temple is one of the oldest and the most important temples devoted to Lord Subrahmonia. Annually three major festivals are celebrated in this temple, of which the Chithira festival is the most important. It takes place in Medom (April-May). The procession with the golden peacock throne is quite attractive.
